摘要：
A simple analytical expression for the input pulse of a cable line is derived in terms of the corresponding output pulse by solving the inverse problem rigorously. The expression enables one to correct, with a specified accuracy, the signal distortions introduced by the cable both mathematically and by using physical equipment.
