摘要：
The fields which magnetize metals Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Tm to saturation are calculated in a wide temperature range with equations for anisotropic ferromagnets and values of the anisotropy constant in rare-earth metals. The influence of anisotropy on the heat capacity is discussed. The heat capacity anisotropy of Tb in an external field is calculated. The temperature curves of the magnetization in the hard and easy directions within the basal plane are also calculated.
