The importance of being prepared for accidental or deliberate power outages is discussed. It is always best to design the water supply system for total redundancy. Going with dual sources is a fairly good plan under most circumstances. It is also necessary to ferret out information about the electric utility's infrastructure to make sure that the plans to meet emergencies are up to date.
