摘要
The possibility is demonstrated of creating a controlled spark gap with a cold cathode, a mercury filler, and a constant magnetic field, which is capable of commutating currents of up to 25 kA with a duration above 1 msec at a voltage of 0. 4 to 30 kV with a discharge development time delay less than 1 mu sec.
