Nanping starts up newsprint PM in China

The purchase of a 180,000 mtpy newsprint machine has made Nanping Paper the largest newsprint company in China. The new unit was brought to the mill in the Fujian province, which already has four other newsprint machines with a total capacity of 150,000 mtpy. Nanping has decided to stop production on PMs 1 and due, but plans to rebuild PMs 3 and 4 at a later date.
