Oil and gas exploration activities of the INA-Naftaplin and Naftagas companies are reviewed. A detailed account is given of the three large sedimentary basins in Yugoslavia that seem to hold promise for successful discovery of new oil and gas deposits. These are the Pannonian basin, the Dinarides, and the Adriatic offshore area. Yugoslav hydrocarbon output from 1971 to 1974 is also reviewed.
