摘要
For transverse stability of tie rods of lift and counterbalance cylinders, a certain condition must be fulfilled for the entire length of press-ram movement. In order to reduce the loads on the gland assemblies and reduce the stresses in the tie rods while maintaining transverse stability, it is recommended not to use guide sleeves on the tie rod. System stability is improved by combining the lift and counterbalance cylinders into one unit.
