Quality Assurance of Rubber Parts - Tasks and Aims for the Automobile Industry.

Rubber has become an important automobile material. As such, it must possess high performance and durability levels. These two factors are in turn, influenced by quality assurance. Although producers of rubber components have improved the level of quality, certain improvements still need to be made. These improvements are briefly discussed. It is shown that quality assurance should be based on a suitable control program for materials and final parts as well. But more than this it's necessary to plan quality by better part and tool design and by better layout of manufacturing equipment.
