摘要：

Indole-3-carboxaldehyde (1) condensed with cyanoacetohydrazide (2) to yield 3-indolylidine cyanoacetohydrazide (3). Compound (3) condensed with different arylidene malononitrile (4) in presence of a base to give 7-aryl-6,8-dicyano-2-(3-indolyl) [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]-pyridin-5-one (5). Also, the condensation of (3) with different ethyl arylidene cyanoacetate (9) gave the corresponding 4-aryl-3,5-dicyano-6-hydroxy-N-1-(3-indolylidine)pyridin-2-one (10).
