On the mechanism of ultrasonic action on aqueous systems

摘要
The interface polarization during electrochemical processes under ultrasonic treatment of aqueous systems (water, solutions, and suspensions) was studied. It is shown that the arising electric current depends on the polarization electromotive force (EMF) and electric conductivity of solution. It is established that the water decomposition, changes in pH values and other ultrasonic effects can be interpreted via electrochemical mechanism.
