摘要
Stress sensitivity of the strain rate in macro tests or the rate of movement of dislocations in micro tests, termed in stress rate sensitivity (SRS); is an important parameter for deformation response and can be evaluated by various techniques. Results on aluminum, copper and nickel show that SRS may be considered as the history dependent structure variable in the constitutive equations for plastic deformation. The dependence of SRS on the initial stress level may reveal the different work hardening regions.
