This paper describes the use of computers to program automatic circuit analyzers. The presentation covers three areas-adaptation of unit to be tested, wire data processing, and analyzer programming. Adaptation covers inventory and selection of existing adapters, determination of new adapters required, automatic design of new adapters, updating of inventory, and assigning of adapters to analyzer and unit to be tested. Wire data processing covers point to point circuit tracing of wire list, removing of internal points which are unaddressable, and adding of unwired pins as spares. Analyzer programming covers types of programming of various analyzers.
