Design of a grounding system is made easier if analytical and graphical data concerning the electrical performances and geometrical parameters of the electrodes and the earth are available. In this work a synthesis of the performances of many grounding systems with different characteristics and sizes is carried out, starting from a suitable computer analysis. Analytical and graphical expressions of the mentioned performances are reported. These expressions allow one to foresee, within a known accuracy, the values of the most significant electrical quantities of the ground electrode under construction, by assuming homogeneous earth conditions.
