Results of an experimental investigation of the thermal conductivity coefficient of diethyl ether in the liquid and gaseous states, in the 293-574 K temperature range and 0. 98 multiplied by (times) 10**5-490 multiplied by (times) 10**5 N/m**2 pressure range, are presented. The investigation was carried out in the critical and transcritical regions of the parameters of state. The method of cylindrical bicalorimeter of the regular thermal conditions was used to study thermal conductivity. In the critical region, at the isober of 35. 28 multiplied by (times) 10**5 N/m**2, an anomalous increase in the thermal conductivity coefficient was observed. A relation between thermal conductivity and viscosity of diethyl ether is established.
