Kartonfabriek De Eeendracht in the Netherlands reduced its energy costs and increased output with successful implementation of computer-based power plant control. It later led to a co-generation project. Some topics discussed are these: the original power plant; tie-line and VHPC control; two years of operating results; and a system leading to co-generation.
