摘要
The speed of sound was measured in the liquid phase of n- and isobutyl alcohols at the saturation line within the temperature range of minus 80 divided by 50 and minus 90 divided by 40 degree C respectively with an error of 0. 2%. Using the data thus obtained, the adiabatic and thermal compressibility, heat capacity at a constant volume, and the ratio between heat capacities were computed.
