Frequently it is necessary to have a displaying device in conjunction with microcomputers. It is shown how an alphanumeric display can be simply realized by using the output module PIA (MG 6820), which belongs to the family MC 6800, and an in-line self-scan display of Burroughs. These on-line displays are produced for the simultaneous display of 16, 32 or 80 characters.
