摘要
The initiation and propagation of weld cold cracks for steels SM50 and HT80 were investigated using fractographic observations of the TRC (tensile restraint cracking) test specimens. Five different types of crack initiation and propagation behavior were revealed. In the course of the experiments, the influence of hydrogen, stresses and microstructures on weld cracking was studied. The results are presented and discussed in this article.
