Die lubrication in the pressure diecasting process ensures easy castings ejection, but the lubricant (L) has an adverse effect on product quality. One must therefore try to operate with minimum lubricant film thicknesses. Die lubrication after closure (the DLAC system) provides a successful solution to this dilemma in automatic lubrication. The robotized technological complexes in the Ufa Engine-Building Production Association (UEBPA) are described.
