SINTERED VALVE SEAT INSERT FOR DIESEL ENGINE.

The possibility and practicality are discussed of sintered materials applications for the valve seat for diesel engines. As a result, it was proved that by using the composite material obtained by P/M method and by adopting P/M hot forging technique to get improved strength of the material, high performance sintered valve set insert showing even better performance than Co based alloy (stellite), the best kind among existing materials, can be developed.
