摘要
The distribution of electric field within a lossy layer in single-mode rectangular waveguide is controlled using optimal material design method. The optimal placing and micro-geometry of composite controlling materials are suggested to control and optimize microwave heating in waveguide systems. The multimode wave propagation emerges in the waveguides filled with dielectric materials. Multimode propagation may occur with some finite number of higher modes existing at a time.
