摘要：

An artificial delay line (ADL) is a chain of cascaded low pass filter sections. The function of the ADL is to delay by a certain time the input pulses, whose spectrum is limited by the upper transmission frequency F. An improved method, that takes account of the error of reproducing the delay, is described for the design of an ADL. Curves are given showing how the number of ADL sections varies with the dimensionless product of the delay and the upper transmission limit.
