摘要：

The phenomena, effect factors and distinguishable characteristics of the failure of fretting fatigue damage have been described by real case. The failure analysis of fretting fatigue damage for soft axle of electric motor were made. The results show that the repeated damages of surface integrity and protective oxidation film is a main factor of the failure of the fretting fatigue damage.
