摘要
The physical mechanisms of the diffusion transfer of molybdenum atoms onto the tungsten target surface in the X-ray focal spot are considered. For deeper insight into the target near-surface layer structure, one needs to take into account the accumulation process of non-reversible plastic deformation in thermoelastic stresses relaxation which is accompanied by the formation of disoriented cells with the deformation-origin boundaries. The usage of the monocrystal targets as X-ray tubes anodes is shown to reduce a slip along blocks boundaries and allow one to increase the tube service life.
