摘要
A review on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of fuel ethanol produced from corn and cellulosic biomass was presented. Analysis on fuel ethanol showed that use of corn-based ethanol as a transportation fuel helps reduce permile GHG emissions of motor vehicles. It was found that use of corn-based E85 can reduce GHG emissions between 15 and 30%.
