Norske Skog Steti, Czech Republic increased its newsprint prices by 20% from the beginning of the year 2001 to bring levels in line with competitors. The product quality and push up capacity of Steti improved after the purchase of newsprint producer, Roto Seti at the end of 1997. Steti expects to increase newsprint production to 120,500 tonnes by the end of 2001.
