Prediction of high pressure vapor-liquid equilibria for a ternary asymmetrical reservoir fluid

In this paper, high pressure vapor-liquid equilibria are calculated for a ternary asymmetrical reservoir fluid CO2-CH4-n-C16H34 using P-R equation of state and new mixing rules which are proposed by the authors. The results are compared with experimental data. The absolute average percentage deviations of bubble point pressure are between 3% and 12%. This method markedly improves the prediction of vapor-liquid equilibria for multi-component reservoir fluid.
