摘要
To develop aluminum sprayed steel for use as a structural material in atmospheric and marine environments, many investigations have been carried out into its corrosion resistance, paintability and workability. The following results were obtained: (1) Aluminum sprayed steel has excellent corrosion resistance in atmospheric and marine environments, particularly in the latter environment. (2) Paintability of the Al sprayed coating is better than that of zinc-rich paint or Zn sprayed coating and the life of the paint on Al sprayed coating is longer than that of the paint on Zn sprayed coating. (3) Exfoliation of the coating film by ordinary handling is prevented thanks to Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd's newly developed adhesive for the Al sprayed coating film.
