Using the theory of higher order approximations and the hydrodynamic description of electron beams, a model of curvilinear ribbon-shaped and plane symmetrical relativistic beams in an arbitrarily oriented external magnetic field is proposed for ρ-mode emission. The initial data (asymptotics) for the equations of the higher order approximations are obtained using an analysis of the solution in the near-cathode region.
