Granulating equipment is the key to the in-plant scrap recovery so vital in the current material situation. Just what is available today in terms of granulator technology and recovery techniques is contained in this EUP report. The following topics are discussed - close loop systems; machine side granulators; noise levels; vertical rotor design; variety of feeding heads; draw-off attachments; and safety devices.
