A modification of the gas analyzer for rapid determination of hydrocarbon gases was used to determine the individual acidic gases carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, and chlorine in mixtures with oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and methane. The tested gas was not submitted to preliminary purification in a solution of alkali but was only freed from water vapor and then admitted to the condensation tubes, cooled with liquid nitrogen.
