RESPONSE OF A PLATE IN SUPERSONIC FLOW TO A SHOCK LOAD.

This paper presents an analysis of non-stationary vibrations of an aeroelastic surface system on the example of a plate of finite length in two-dimensional supersonic flow; the plate is loaded by pressure which varies in time proportionally to the Heaviside step function and the Dirac impulse function. The problem is solved under homogeneous initial conditions. The plate considered is either simply supported at the edges or clamped in rigid or elastic supports.
