WIDE RANGE DIGITAL FREQUENCY MULTIPLIER.

A frequency multiplier using digital circuitry and capable of operation over a wide frequency range and for multiplication by large numbers is discussed. The circuit is particularly useful for low frequencies. The quantization error caused by the accumulator in the circuit may be controlled to acceptable values by suitable choice of the counting frequency.
