摘要
Field ion microscopy was used to investigate the redistribution of molybdenum atoms at early martensite aging stages in Fe-Ni-Mo alloys. Annealed for 40 s - 30 min at 500 degree C, Fe-Ni (4. 55-1. 2) wt. % Mo alloys exhibited concentration inhomogeneities along dislocation lines and martensite crystal boundaries. A longer heat treatment of Fe-Ni-2. 05% Mo and Fe-Ni-4. 55% Mo was also shown to produce initial regions of a Mo-enriched intermetallic phase. No solid solution decomposition stage was found to occur in Fe-Ni-1. 2% Mo.
