Carbon dioxide injection in the North Cross Devonian Unit located in the Crosset Field is described. To date, one well is definitely responding to CO//2 injection and at least four others are beginning to show signs of response. The only major operating problem has been a decline in CO//2 injectivity. The only solution so far has been to convert additional wells to injectors. While the causes are not fully understood, they are suspected to be reservoir rather than well-bore conditions. The CO//2 project design, surface and down-hole facilities, and several surveillance tools used at North Cross are discussed in detail.
