Evaluation of the data at the Harbour Island Shuttle facility and observations at the job site led the flying surface construction consultant to recommend similar tolerance measurements for controlling the quality of the Getty Center Tramway flying surface. The measurements approach was intended for use in construction of the flying surface for the Getty Tramway. Surfaces superior to those evaluated at the Harbour Island project were obtained through the evaluation of data and subsequent corrective grinding.
