Composition and Some Mechanical and Processing Properties of Packaging Fibers.

In the reported experiments, PVC compounds with different amounts of lubricants, stabilizers and copolymer modifiers were studied by a Brabender plastograph. An influence of additives on the dynamic thermal stability of compounds and on their consistency during processing was investigated. The tensile strength and the elongation of films with different contents of copolymer modifier were also measured. The minima and maxima were observed for the properties as a function of modifier content.
