Advanced technologies which put Japan's 900 MHz band high-capacity mobile radio telephone sytem into practical use are reviewed. New technologies utilized in the system, such as radio link control using a microprocessor, multi-zone control using carrier frequency-offset scheme and technique to remove radio propagation weak signal areas, are described.
