摘要
A technique was developed for two-side two-pass plasma welding components 14-16mm thick made of a high-strength steel in conditions resulting in an increase of service properties, smaller HAX and weld width, lower labor content, and higher productivity of welding. Experimental results have shown that the most rational design of the plasma torch is one with a system of holes for feeding the focusing gas and tangential feed of the plasma forming gas. The losses of thermal energy of the arc in the nozzle duct decrease with an increase in thickness of the walls separating the channel of the working nozzle from the cooling water.
