摘要
A new diesel fuel filter/separator, engineered and designed jointly by Fram Corp. and Ford Motor Co. , will be original equipment in Ford's first diesel powered cars. The key components on Fram's new diesel fuel filter/water separator include: two-stage filter coalescer that removes the water in the fuel system; a built-in heater for earlier cold weather starts; and a pleated paper filtering media that removes abrasive contaminants as small as 1. 5 microns. Other features include: a hand-operated primer pump; water sensing probe and drain tube.
