摘要：

Basic characteristics of supply reliability are described. A program system based on Monte Carlo simulation helps to calculate selected characteristics of supply reliability for industrial electric power systems. By taking account of the stochastic character of the damage costs, the expenditure characteristic gamma can be recommended as a criterion for the selection of a preferable solution from a set of potential solutions. 11 refs.
