Hot corrosion resistance of Ni and Ni-base superalloys

摘要
The hot corrosion rates of Ni, IN-100 and IN-713LC are measured by the conventional Tafel method, in molten Na2SO4 in contact with gas atmospheres containing SO2 and SO3. The corrosion resistances determined from corrosion current densities are compared with those from thermogravimetry and other electrochemical tests.
