摘要
A synthesis is made of the main types of fixed frequency inverters best suited to emergency static supplies. A range of units intended to cover the present and projected requirements are derived from this synthesis. For each type, the latest solutions are pointed out. Their development runs in parallel with the technological evolution of components. The reliability and redundancy of power supplies are finally discussed.
