General purpose programmable controller-based systems for casting equipment help to reduce designing, manufacturing, assemblying and adjusting periods and idle work due to spare modules; to prolong the service life due to the use of the control system on another equipment; also, this control system makes it possible to connect with CAP, to change rapidly the programme and to detect mulfunctions.
