摘要：

The pressure in the particle layer compressed between the roller and the table is discussed and related to the mill performance. The flow caused by compressing the unconfined layer was taken into consideration to analyze the pressure distribution. Then, using the grinding rate given as a function of the pressure, grinding in the mill was simulated to minimize power consumption.
