ROLE OF HIGH-FREQUENCY PREIONIZATION IN IMPROVING PLASMA HEATING.

摘要
The possibility of improving turbulent plasma heating by rf preionization is considered. It is shown that preionization with an hf current of 1. 2 kA makes it possible to obtain a detached pinch with a density n equals 2 multiplied by (times) 10**1**4 cm** minus **3 and a gas kinetic pressure nT equals 10**6 eV cm** minus **3. Hf preionization gives an order of magnitude improvement in plasma heating with a ringing circuit. The dependence of heating efficiency on the amplitude and frequency of hf current is indicated.
