A theory is given for the anomalous extension of the diffraction field from a plane narrow-slit waveguide filled with a magnetized plasma and excited by a modulated electron beam. In the limiting case in which the slits are covered, and the conditions correspond to resonance for the corresponding closed system, the fringing field has a definite polarization, and the radiated energy flux approaches a finite limit which is independent of the external magnetic field. Radiation maxima should be observed near the grazing angles.
