摘要
To deal with multi-heat-source and high-heat-flux heat transfer problem of array antennas, a heat pipe cold plate equipment is developed. Acetone-aluminum heat pipe construction consists of eight vertical pipes with their upper condensation section and lower evaporation section connected with each other. Evaporation section is embedded in the aluminum-made cold plate and condensation section is cooled by cooling water in water-jacket. Eight electronic-heating plates are evenly arranged on the two bigger vertical surfaces to simulate heat generation of array antennas and the heat is eventually transferred to cool water and then to outer environment. Experimental study shows that the heat pipe cold plate equipment possesses excellent heat transfer performance and temperature evenness, and satisfies design requirements.
