摘要
The dispersive composition of droplets formed as a result of the breakdown of a cavitating jet of a superheated liquid discharging into the atmosphere is experimentally investigated. An experimental relationship between the mean mass diameter of the droplet and the level of superheating of the liquid is obtained. An empirical formula for the mean mass diameter of the droplets as a function of several design and operating parameters is proposed.
