摘要：

High-definition video copy equipment with picture quality almost simulating photographic prints has been developed. A sublimation-dye thermal transfer method is used to give prints which are A5 in size and have a printing resolution of 8 dots/mm. Printing time is under 3 min per copy. Color can be reproduced in up to 64 gradations. The construction of the video copy equipment and the measures taken to ensure high-quality prints are explained in detail.
